Rapid 3D Prototypes

FDM and resin prototyping for a consumer electronics startup — 48-hour turnaround on design revisions.

  • 3D printer building prototype enclosure
  • Finished plastic prototype parts

Project Overview

A Bandung-based consumer electronics startup needed fast physical prototypes for a handheld device enclosure before committing to injection-mold tooling. BantuProduksi provided end-to-end MaaS support — from STL review and print orientation optimization to post-processing, fit checks, and iterative redesign cycles.

Over six weeks the client went through four design revisions. Our team printed each iteration in ABS and resin, sanded and assembled snap-fit prototypes, and documented wall-thickness and tolerance feedback so their engineering team could finalize the design for production.

What We Delivered

  • FDM and resin 3D printing across four design iterations
  • Support removal, sanding, and assembly of multi-part enclosures
  • Fit-and-function testing against internal PCB and battery modules
  • Design-for-manufacturing notes ahead of mold tooling quotes
